Bison Boys On To State, Kaycee Teams Stumble At State

Buffalo's boys' basketball team will travel to Casper Wednesday for the 3A State Basketball Tournament after finishing fourth at the Regional Tournament this past weekend.
Buffalo will face the #1 team from the west, Star Valley, at Casper College beginning at noon.
The Lady Bison opened their tournament with a loss to Rawlins and followed by beating Glenrock 49-35 in the consolation round before finally falling to Torrington 62-43 on Saturday. Their season is finished.
Kaycee's Buckaroos opened State with a blowout loss to Burligton 75-53 then were sent home from State when they fell to Lingle-Ft. Laramie in a heartbreaker 44-43.
The Lady Bucs also opened State with a loss, 44-39 to Farson-Eden, but rebounded in the consolation round to beat Hulett 46-31 before being sent home by losing the consolation championship to Lingle-Ft. Laramie 33-30.
So the Buffalo Bison boys will be the lone representatives from Johnson County at this week's 3A State Tournament.
