After being postponed a couple of times, the Big Horn Rams football team finally got a chance to hit the gridiron against the Glenrock Herders Monday night. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was in Glenrock for the game, and has this report.
The Rams offense seemed to be a bit out of sync early in the game, as the contest was scoreless until just over two and half minutes to go in the first half when Big Horn scored on a touchdown pass from Connor McCafferty to Ryan Kobielusz. The Rams scored on their first two possessions of the second half and jumped out to a 20-0 lead with just over five minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. Rams Head Coach Michael McGuire.
Glenrock scored early in the 4th quarter to make things interesting, but Big Horn added another touchdown late in the game and won by the final of 27-7, upping their record to 4-1 on the season. Coach McGuire says that the defense may have given up some yards, but they never let the Herders hit on a big play.
The Rams have only a few days to get ready for their next game, which will alter their preparation explains McGuire.
The Rams will have another tough road game this week, as they'll travel to take on the undefeated Wheatland Bulldogs Friday night.
