High School Conference Basketball Opens Today / Cowboy and Cowgirl Basketball Face New Mexico Saturday / SC Generals and Lady Generals Host Little Big Horn Saturday

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open conference play with the at Cheyenne South tonight and Laramie tomorrow.

We will broadcast all four games live on KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio game times tonight are scheduled for 5:30 and 7:00 and tomorrow at 11:30 and 1:00.

The second season starts tonight with the beginning of conference play Lady Broncs Head coach Jessica Pickett says her young Lady Bronc squad continues to play positive.

CLASS 4-A ATHLETICS - We hear more today from Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian today on changes coming to 4-A athletics in Wyoming over the next two years.

This fall when the new school year begins we'll see the schedules for the 4-A schools change in football with the addition of Thunder Basin high school in Gillette.

4-A ATHLETICS AND ACTIVITIES - We hear from Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian today on changes coming to 4-A athletics in Wyoming over the next two years with the addition of Thunder Basin high school in Gillette.

This fall when the new school year begins we'll see the schedules for the East 4-A schools change the most.

The biggest change will come during the 2018-19 school year when class 4-A will expand from 12 to 16 teams.

BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers compete at Casper Kelly Walsh Saturday the meet will have five teams competing.

They are coming off a long weekend road trip and Head coach Brent Moore says they Broncs continue to work through a tough regular season schedule.

The biggest goal of the regular season is getting as many team members qualified for the state championships.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Broncs split games losing at Billings Skyview 75-63 Friday they came back to beat Natrona county 55-44 Saturday.

NC jumped all over the Broncs and had a 12-0 lead to start the game but the Broncs stayed the course and got within four at halftime and then took control of the game in the second half, Head coach Jeff Martini. Senior Coy Steel lead the Broncs with 19 points.

They are now done with non-conference play and Martini says the first 11 games were all for preparing for the next ten.
