LADY GENERALS HOOPS - Sheridan college basketball player Fallon Lewis committed verbally late Wednesday to play basketball for the Wyoming Cowgirls next season.

Lewis was a multi year All-state player at Tongue River high school and then joined the Lady Generals after graduation last fall leading the Lady Generals in scoring as a freshmen.

Lady Generals Head coach Frank McCarthy says Lewis' story from high school now to division one basketball is impressive.

McCarthy went onto to says Lewis' hard work made her the player she is today.

The Lady Generals will open their season on the road November 1st at the College of Great Falls in Montana and McCarthy says this year's roster of players looks very good.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams will close out their regular season at Newcastle tonight Head coach Bert Dow expects a tough game and the rams need to be ready for a very good Newcastle ball club.

You can hear the rams regular season finale live on 95.9 FM kickoff is scheduled for 7:00.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs close out the regular season at Cheyenne East tonight. It's an early start with the First Federal pregame show at 5:30 and kickoff at 6:00 the game will be broadcast live on am 14-10 KWYO.

The game doesn't mean anything in the standings but Head coach Don Julian says they want to build momentum tonight heading into the playoffs which begin a week from today.

REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will open up their regional tournament against Cheyenne South the match will be played at 11:00. The north 4-A regional is being played at Cheyenne Central high school

The 2-A East regional will be played in Sheridan today and tomorrow at Sheridan high school and Sheridan college.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles will face Pine Bluffs in an opening round match at noon out at Sheridan college.

The Big Horn Lady Rams will open the tournament at noon against Burns that match will be played at Sheridan high school.

STATE CROSS COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country teams run at the Wyoming state cross country championships tomorrow in Douglas.

Head coach Art Bauers says both teams have a lot of confidence heading into tomorrow's race.
