AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL OPENS MONDAY

TROOPERS / JETS BASEBALL - Sheridan American Legion baseball coaches met with players and parents last night as they get ready to open the season Monday.

The Troopers and Jets will take to the field at Thorne-Rider stadium Monday evening, Troopers Head coach Ben Phillips is excited to get this season going as they return several players from a year ago.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams are unbeaten heading into their conference openers tomorrow evening. The Lady Broncs open conference play on the road while the Broncs host.

Lady Bronc Head coach Tom Racette says the east conference is expected to be dominate again this spring meaning the Lady Broncs need to be at their best during conference play just to have a chance to get to the state tournament.

They open at Cheyenne South tomorrow and Saturday afternoon at Laramie.

The Broncs open conference play as the defending state champs they host the South Bison to open conference play tomorrow.

The Broncs did not allow a goal last weekend in their four victories and did not play at full strength as several varsity players were missing Head coach Kevin Riser says they should be a little better this week since getting everyone back on the practice field.

The Bronc JV's start the evening off tomorrow at 4:00 with the varsity match scheduled for 6:00. Saturday's matches with Laramie will be at 10:00 and Noon.

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school track teams head to Cody for a big invitational meet Saturday should be a competitive meet, Sheridan high school Head coach Art Bauers.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - Sheridan high school Head golf coach Larry Martoglio says the Broncs and Lady Broncs will have their first practice for the spring season after school on Monday at Kendrick golf course.
