WYOMING ALL-STAR HOOPS - The Wyoming high school all-star basketball teams dropped both both games in Sheridan Friday night the girls lost 70-69. The boys game went into overtime with Montana holding on for a 93-87 victory.
Saturday the Wyoming girls turned up the defensive heat and dominated Montana winning 65-49. They took a 12-1 lead at the start and never let Montana in the game after that, Sheridan's Hailey Ligocki says they were very motivated after losing by one point on Friday.
And Ligocki says her two week all-star experience was a lot of fun.
Girls Head coach Frank McCarthy says it was a great performance by the team Saturday night.
And he says the Wyoming players set the tone of the game early.
The Wyoming boys played another tough game Saturday but in the end came up short 88-82 a night after forcing overtime boys Head coach Steve Smiley says the team represented the state well and all fans should be proud of their effort.
SC BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP - Starting this morning Smiley and some of his generals players will open the Generals basketball camp at the Hoffman dome, the camp will run the next four mornings from 8:00 to noon, Smiley says if you haven't registered before today they will take walk up registration this morning.
SC GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP - The Lady Generals basketball camp will be held in the Hoffman dome next week opening Monday. the camp will run each day from 9:00 until noon, if you haven't preregistered they will also take walk ups on Monday morning.
2013 SHRINE BOWL - The annual Shrine Bowl football game went to the North team this year as they beat the South 34-6 Saturday night in Casper.
TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will be back in action tomorrow night at Thorne-Rider stadium as they host a single nine inning conference game with Gillette.
The first pitch will be tossed out at 6:00 and will have it live for you on 14-10 KWYO.
