SHS FOOTBALL - Sheridan High School Head Football Coach Don Julian starts his 3rd season at the helm of the Bronc Football program this year. Last year, the Broncs made a big splash in 4-A Football with an 8-game winning streak and back-to-back wins over Casper Natrona and Gillette. They made it to the semi-finals in the playoffs before being eliminated. Julian says they'll hit the ground running today. And Julian likes what he sees from team leadership and the coaching staff. We'll have more tomorrow, as the Broncs prepare to open the regular season August 28th against the Casper Kelly Walsh Trojans.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL- The Tongue River Eagles, Big Horn Rams and NSI Wolves will open training camp a week from today. The Eagles will have a new field to play on this fall, and Head Coach Chuck Walters says the new place looks great. This Thursday, the Eagles will have their player/parent meeting, which is mandatory.

The Big Horn Rams will have their player/parent meeting Friday night. Head Coach Bert Dow on the Rams off-season. The Rams meeting Friday evening will take place in the gym at the Big Horn High School. The Lady Rams volleyball team will also meet Friday at 6 pm in the cafeteria.

GOLF & TENNIS - Big Horn and Tongue River Golf Coach, Sandy Michelena, will have his Big Horn Golf meeting this Wednesday at 4 o'clock, then at Tongue River at 7 pm.

VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan College Volleyball team is hosting a high school and Jr. High training camp today through Wednesday at the Hoffman Dome from noon to 2 pm.

MLB - The Colorado Rockies continue to win, as they downed the Chicago Cubs Sunday 11-5. The Rockies are now tied with the San Francisco Giants for the National League wild card spot.
