Grade 2-6 Skill Camp: This camp is designed for young volleyball players who want to learn and develop the fundamental skills of volleyball.
Campers will learn the fundamentals, rules and beginning skills of volleyball. The camp is a great opportunity to learn the game of volleyball in a safe and energetic environment.
The camp will go from 9:00 am-10:30 am on Monday-Wednesday August 4-6. Camp entry is open to girls or boys entering grades 2nd-6th. The camp cost is $60 per athlete.
Grade 7-9th Skills Camp: The skill development camp for girls entering grades 7th-9th is designed to further develop the fundamental skills of volleyball.
Campers will learn offensive and defensive strategies as well as the basics of position specific development. Basic skills of volleyball will be addressed in individual drills used to breakdown the fundamental skills.
Team drills will then be implemented to teach the fundamentals of the game as a whole as well as teamwork. This camp will run from 2:00 pm-4:30 pm Monday-Wednesday Aug 4-6. The camp cost $80 per athlete.
High School Camp: This camp is designed for the competitive volleyball athlete that is looking to make an impact at the high school level and is interested at the potential of eventually moving on to play at the college level.
This first section of the camp is structured to teach advanced skill and position specific fundamentals, while providing the athlete with an opportunity to learn the training principles from a collegiate coaching staff.
The campers will then return in the afternoon for a competitive session in which they will learn the breakdown of team defensive schemes and strategies while playing in various competitions and situational team drills.
The first session will run daily from 10:30 am-12:30 pm followed by the afternoon session which is scheduled for 4:30-6:30. The cost of camp is $90 per athlete.
