WYO RODEO - The 2012 Sheridan WYO rodeo week kicks off tomorrow with the annual Boot Kickoff which will be held at Sheridan college.
We've heard from WYO rodeo board member Nick Siddle this week as we get ready for rodeo week.
Siddle says the board has had a lot of help over the last several years to make the WYO what it is today.
The best of the best of the PRCA will compete in Sheridan next week as the top 20 cowboys and cowgirls will compete in each event and nearly 700 participants are set to perform.
And again starting tomorrow with the Boot Kickoff their is a rodeo week activity for everyone.
Official events begin today with the Chris Ledoux memorial golf tournament at the Powder Horn. The Boot Kickoff is tomorrow starting at 4:00.
Slack steer roping starts Wednesday morning at 9:00 and the first performance starts Wednesday evening at 7:00.
Sheridan Media will be making our annual broadcast Friday morning starting at 6:00 at the Kiwanis pancake breakfast and finishing up with the WYO rodeo parade at 10:00.
TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 33-8 as they get for a road double header in Cody Sunday, then a conference game Tuesday in Casper before coming home Wednesday to host two with Spearfish, South Dakota.
Our next live broadcast of Trooper baseball will be that Spearfish double header Wednesday the first pitch will be tossed out at 5:00 live on 14-10 KWYO.
SC YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP - Sheridan college volleyball coach Jennifer Weitzel and the Lady Generals will host their volleyball camp next week Monday through Wednesday at the Hoffman dome.
They will have two sessions per day one for 2nd through 6th grades and 7th through 9th grades.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost 6-2 at St. Louis Thursday night, they've dropped four of their last five games and scored only 13 runs in the last six games.
They finish up the first half of the MLB season with a three game weekend series at the Washington Nationals.
