INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - The Indoor track and field season is underway at Sheridan high school with the first practices of the new season for the Broncs and Lady broncs.

The first meet will be at Black Hills state university in Spearfish a week from Friday.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers will open up 2012 at the "Shane Shatto" invitational in Douglas Friday.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers will open the new year at home hosting duals with Gillette and Laramie tomorrow and Friday.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams will be in Riverton for three games each all six games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM.

The schedule tomorrow has them facing Kelly Walsh the Lady Broncs play at 6:00 the Broncs at 7:30.

Friday they play Riverton girls at 6:00 and the boys at 7:30. They conclude the event Saturday against Evanston with games at 3:00 and 4:30.

MORE LOCAL HOOPS - The basketball teams teams at Tongue River will play games with Moorcroft and Lovell , the Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams face Wright and Moorcroft, NSI will play Hulett and Upton and Arvada/Clearmont with play Upton and Midwest.

MORE WITH THE PBR - Today we conclude or visit with former Sheridan resident Tab Barker who is enjoying his time with the Professional Bull Riders Tour television broadcasts.

Barker has been the interpreter for the PBR for their Brazilian riders who don't speak English during their nationally televised events since this past fall he says it's been an exciting time.

And the PBR is quite and event if you've never been to one. And his advice, learn a second language it may open some doors for you.

His next assignment will be the next PBR TV event in Madison Square Garden in New York City.

WYOMING BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys beat Utah Valley on the road Tuesday night 76-70 and now stand at 13-2 overall heading into their final non-conference game Monday at home against Idaho state.

The Pokes open MWC play at home Saturday the 14th against New Mexico.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos will host their playoff opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday afternoon at 2:30 we will have the game live for on 14-10 KWYO.
