HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Wyoming high school activities association has released the 2012 high school football schedule.
The defending champion Sheridan Broncs will open on the road at Cheyenne Central next fall.
The schedule will feature five home games and four road games they will play road games at Central, Cheyenne South, Rock Springs and Kelly Walsh the home dates will be Natrona county in week two other home games will have them hosting Evanston, Gillette, Laramie and Cheyenne East.
BRONC GOLF - Sheridan high school Senior golfer Kamrin Allen verbally committed to play golf next fall at the University of Wyoming in late September he has now made it official signing a national letter of intent to tee it up for the Pokes in 2012.
BIG HORN HOOPS - We made a stop out at Big Horn Monday to check in with the Rams and Lady Rams basketball teams.
The Rams are coming off a state title season they beat Wyoming Indian 74-58 to win the 2-A title last March and did it going unbeaten through the season.
Head coach Ryan Alley says they had a good opening day as they got ready to take the court yesterday.
And the turnout was good and their numbers are solid.

Former Lady Rams coach Wayne Hall announced his resignation as head coach Monday night at the school district #1 board meeting leaving the Lady Rams without a Head coach.
Former Head coach Mike Daley has stepped in to get the Lady Rams through this first week of practice and is right now the interim head coach it is expected Daley will take over the job on a permanent basis.

TONGUE RIVER HOOPS - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles open their basketball seasons on the road at a tournament in Thermopolis December 2nd.
The Sheridan high school basketball teams will open the 2011-12 season at home December 2nd hosting a double header with Green River.
BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers will also open their season the weekend in December at a two day tournament in Powell.
It will be tough to see the Broncs compete this year as they have only two home duals on their schedule those matches will be December 13th against Billings West and February 9th against Gillette all other duals and tournaments will be on the road.
SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers will open their season with their first practice November 28th, their first competition will be on December 9th at the Casper relays.
COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys are 2-0 after whipping Northern Colorado Tuesday night 76-54. Francisco Cruz had a career high 30 points to lead the way Cody's Adam Waddell had 16.
Next up for the Pokes is a road game at Wisconsin-Green Bay Saturday night.
