2011 FALL SPORTS UNDERWAY TODAY

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football starts week two of fall drills today football is usually broken done into three separate areas, Offense, Defense and Special teams.

Head coach Don Julian says their is a fourth component that is just as important, that's game planning and film study and they take pride in the fact that their Pre-game preparation goes along way in the success of the program.

And as they begin week two on the field Julian was pleased with the first week.

The Broncs open the season at home on Friday, August 26th against Cheyenne Central kickoff is early at 6:00.

The Tongue River Eagles open two a days this morning at 6:30 the Big Horn Rams will take the field with their coaches this morning at 7:00.

RAMS/ LADY RAMS - Big Horn high school has announced the dates and times for their upcoming player / parent meetings for golf and volleyball.

The Lady Rams volleyball meeting will be tonight at 6:30 pm in the Big Born commons and the golf meeting will be on tomorrow at 4:00 pm in the Big Horn commons.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan high school Lady Bronc volleyball team will open two a days this morning at 6:30 they will go from 5:30 to 7:30 tonight as well.

BRONC / LADY BRONC TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams will open practice this afternoon at 4:30.

BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - Sheridan high school cross country coach Art Bauers says the Broncs and Lady Broncs will open practice this morning at 7:30 they will also have an evening session at 6:00.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers start official practice today even though the players have been playing all summer.

The season begins Thursday and Friday at Kendrick golf course with the Sheridan invitational.

The fall season ends the last weekend in September with the state championships in Riverton the Broncs will be the defending champs.
