BIG HORN MOUNTAIN TRAIL RUN - The annual Big Horn Mountain Wild and Scenic trail run opens with the the start of the 100 mile race tomorrow morning at 10:00 in Scott park in Dayton.
The 50 mile, 50K and 30K races will all start Saturday morning.
Mountain snow conditions have effected this year's course set up, race organizer Michelle Maneval.
And she says as usual entries for the 2011 race are maxed out. And no matter what the weather might hold for the racers and the change of course she says the competitors will be ready to deal with about almost anything.
again the 100 mile race begins tomorrow morning at 10:00 in Scott Bicentennial park in Dayton.
The three shorter events will have staggered starts Saturday morning the 50 mile at 6:00, the 50K at 8:00 and the 30K and 10:00 the finish line is in the park in Dayton.
The first 100 mile finishers are expected in the park early Saturday morning.
The event concludes Sunday morning with a breakfast and awards presentations on Grinnell Plaza in downtown Sheridan.
TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan troopers open play at a tournament tomorrow in Spearfish, South Dakota play runs through Sunday.
Next week they have road games in Cheyenne and Scottsbluff and Gering, Nebraska.
The Troops next home date will be a double header with Casper on June 27th.
BRONC WRESTLING CAMP - The Sheridan Bronc wrestling camp will be held next week at Sheridan high school.
The 2011 bronc wrestling camp is open to all wrestlers from the 6th through 12th grades and will be held in the wrestling room at Sheridan high school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
The camp will run in the evening for the junior high wrestlers from 5:00 to 7:30 and for the high school wrestlers from 5:00 to 8:30.
They will take registration Monday night before the first session opens.
