1-A / 2-A State football results

1-A FOOTBALL - The Southeast Cyclones beat Lingle for the class 1-A state championship this afternoon in Laramie.

The Game was played in "Blizzard" conditions with 6 inches of snow falling on War Memorial stadium.
The weather didn't seem to bother the players as Southeast won 27-20.

2-A FOOTBALL - The 2-A game was played with better conditions but the field remained snow covered as officals didn't have enough time to clear it at halftime.
Glenrock and Thermopolis played a great game Thermopolis avenged a regular season loss to the Herders winning the title 22-20.

GAMES SATURDAY - Tomorrow there will be three games starting with the 3-A title game at 10:30 with Douglas playing Cody followed by the 6-Man game at 1:00 with Guernsey taking on Kaycee.

The Sheridan Broncs and Cheyenne Central Indians are scheduled to Kickoff at 3:30 in the 4-A championship but most likely the game will start closer to 4 pm.
