1-A / 2-A STATE BASKETBALL OPENS THURSDAY IN CASPER

BIG HORN RAMS / LADY RAMS - The Big Horn basketball teams head to state this week as regional tournament champs both have number one seeds as play opens Thursday at 12:00 for the Rams and 6:00 for the Lady Rams.

The Lady Rams had only three regular season losses two to Rocky Mountain and one to Tongue River and Head coach Wayne Hall says the players shook off those losses and have good chemistry going right now after winning the conference tournament.

And Hall says the Lady Rams are in a good place as they get ready to open up the tournament.

They play Greybull in the first round Thursday night at 6:00 we will broadcast the game live on 95.9 FM.

The Rams are 25-0 they won the regular season title and swept three in a row at the regional tournament to win that title.

With two season goals down they have one left to achieve Head coach Ryan Alley says that goal is in Casper this week.

And Alley says the Rams are playing well heading into the tournament.

The Rams open Thursday at noon against Rocky Mountain we will have it live on AM 14-10 KWYO.

TR LADY EAGLES - The Tongue River Lady Eagles are playing great basketball as they get ready for the tournament they are a two seed losing a three point game to Big Horn in the regional final.

They will open with Wyoming Indian at the state tournament Thursday morning that will be our first broadcast of the day as it's scheduled to tip off at 10:30 and will be broadcast live on AM 14-10 KWYO.

We will have a Lady Eagles preview with Head coach Diane Moser tomorrow.,

BROADCAST SCHEDULE (THURSDAY) - Our live broadcast schedule Thursday will open with the Tongue River Lady Eagles play at 10:30 and the Big Horn Rams at noon back to back on AM 14-10 KWYO. The Lady Rams game at 6:00 will be broadcast live on 95.9 FM.

We will also have the Sheridan Broncs regional game with Kelly Walsh at 5:30 on AM 14-10 KWYO.

4-A EAST REGIONAL BASKETBALL - The Broncs will play Casper Kelly Walsh Thursday night at 5:30 in the 4-A east regional tournament at Sheridan high school. That game will be broadcast live on AM 14-10 KWYO.

The Lady Broncs have a first round bye and will play Friday night at 7:00 in the semi finals, they play the winner of the Cheyenne East / Central game.

If the Broncs get by KW Thursday they will play a double header with the Lady Broncs Friday the Broncs will play Friday at 5:30 with the girls at 7:00

WYOMING COWBOYS - The Wyoming Cowboys have two regular season game left to play, tonight they play at home against San Diego state.

We will have the game live for you on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM. broadcast time is 7:30 with the tip at 8:00.

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc indoor track teams will end the indoor season Friday and Saturday at the state indoor championships in Gillette.

SPRING SPORTS SEASON - The outdoor track and high school soccer season's open Monday for the first official day of practice.

The first Sheridan high school outdoor meet is schedule for the Natrona county earlybird meet March 19th.

The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams first games will be march18th for the Lady Broncs in Riverton and for the Broncs opening day is the 19th at a jamboree with Riverton and Worland.
