1-A / 2-A BASKETBALL REGULAR SEASON ENDS THIS WEEK

EAGLES / LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles finish up the regular season this week with Greybull and Sundance both teams sit in second place in the conference.

The youthful Lady Eagles are 13-6 overall and just picked up their biggest win of the season beating Big Horn last Friday Head coach Diane Moser.

And she says the toughness of their schedule has paid off with great late season improvement and confidence.

Heading into this final week and getting ready for post season play Moser says the players have made it a great year so far.

The Eagles enter the week 11-8 overall they've battled through a lot of adversity this season Head coach Larry Moser.

And he says the team leaders have done a good job to bring along the underclassmen ,Stephen Yellowtail currently leads the 2-A east in scoring at just under 21 points per game.

And Moser feels like their in a good spot as they get ready for the regional tournament.

RAMS / LADY RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn basketball teams close out the regular season with games against Sundance and Rocky Mountain this week.

Both have locked up number one seeds for next week's east regional the Lady Rams are 19-2 overall and 6-1 in conference play while the Rams remain the only unbeaten team in the state at 20-0 and 7-0 in conference play.

The 2-A East regional gets underway a week from tomorrow in Newcastle.

NSI / A/C BASKETBALL - The NSI Wolves have road games with week with Upton and Rock River to close out their regular season.

The Arvada/Clearmont Panthers and Lady Panthers are scheduled to complete the regular season with games at home with Moorcroft and Hulett.

A/C and NSI will be at the 1-A regional in Douglas next week.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs host Gillette tomorrow night, they lead the conference race by one game over the Camels.

We will broadcast the game live for you on AM 14-10 KWYO the tip is at 7:30.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals play the next three games on the road at Gillette and Casper this weekend and next Tuesday at Northwest college.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls lost each have one game this week the Pokes play at Utah tonight while the Cowgirls host the Utes.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers will be in Cheyenne this weekend for the East regional tournament. The tournament opens Friday at Cheyenne East high school.

BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers are off this week and will head to the Wyoming state swimming and diving championships in Gillette next week. 4-A prelims get underway next Thursday afternoon.

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school indoor track and field teams had last weekend off. This week all qualifiers will head to compete in the Simplot games in Pocatello, Idaho. Events get underway tomorrow night.
