SHS WRESTLING / SOCCER - Former Sheridan wrestling coach Corey Hamrick resigned his position this past spring. Last week, the Sheridan County District 2 school board approved the hiring of Terry Burgess to take over the Bronc program. Burgess isn't new to coaching in School District 2; he coached the Bronc wrestlers from 1984-90. He also was a longtime assistant track and football coach. Now that he's back coaching at the varsity level, Burgess joined us this past Friday on our Bronc football broadcast during the Radio Shack halftime show. Burgess says it will be great to be back working with students on a daily basis. Next spring, former Sheridan high school soccer coach and Athletic Director Tom Racette returns to the side lines as the head coach of the Lady Bronc soccer team.

Friday afternoon the Tongue River Eagles play at home vs. Hulett, and the Sheridan Broncs play at Cheyenne East. The Broncs are smarting after that 42-20 loss at the hands of Kelly Walsh; head coach Don Julian says East is another good opponent.
