The boot kickoff in Kendrick park gets things rolling tonight all the fun starts at 5.The WYO carnival opens tomorrow at 5pm. Thursday night is kids night at the first performance all kids 12 and under get in free with a paying adult (general admission only).
Friday morning the Kiwanis pancake breakfast opens at 6 o'clock the Spurs and Sneakers fun run is at 8 o'clock followed by the Bed races at 9 then the 79th Sheridan WYO rodeo parade begins at 10 after the parade there will be an Indian a pow wow and dancing on Grinnel plaza. The Kiwanis duck race on Goose creek starts at 1 pm both. The week culminates with the Tailgate party and polo matches at the Big horn equestrian center Sunday at 11 am Craft says Sunday is a fitting way to conclude the the 79th WYO.

The Sheridan Troopers will be on the road tonight in Casper they will play their final home games of the regular season July 18th against Rapid City Post #320.The Sheridan Jets will host the American Legion “B” state tournament the action gets underway July 23rd at Thorne-Rider stadium.
The Sheridan Bronc football coaches will host camps next week for youth players and they'll also be hosting a high school team camp. They will have a camp for all 4th through 8th grade kids Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Homer Scott stadium. The camp will run each evening from 5 to 6 pm the cost is 10 dollars all campers get a camp t-shirt they will take registration at the high school Monday afternoon before the camp opens also Monday through Wednesday they will have a mini-camp for all freshmen through senior football players from 6 to 8 pm each night.
The week will finish with a one day high school team camp on Thursday several teams will be participating in the team camp. Black Hills State head coach Jay Long will be the clinician for the offensive linemen they will also have 7 on 7 and 11 on 11 scrimmages. Teams in for the camp along with the Broncs include Casper Natrona, Big horn, Tongue river, Upton, Saratoga, Newcastle and Sundance.
The Sheridan Bronc football team will open camp for the 2009 season in 34 days head coach Don Julian says the weight room has been busy this summer.The Broncs open the 2009 season at home August 28th against the Casper Kelly Walsh Trojans.
