The Wyoming all-star basketball teams have one day left before they tip off their annual series with the Montana all-stars this year's girls team has three players from Sheridan county on the roster Taylor Gardner and Katie Strandholm from Sheridan high school and Morgan Mines from Arvada-Clearmont. Gardner says since growing up in Sheridan she's always attended the all-star games and now it's a honor to be able to play for team Wyoming.Gardner signed a national letter of intent this spring will run track and the University of Wyoming and says the series will be her final games and she wants to enjoy it.All-star head coach Frank McCarthy says our series enjoys great tradition.and McCarthy says the players have done a good job in getting ready to play. The Wyoming boys team has one Sheridan county player on the roster Micheal Tucker from Tongue River high school will suit up tomorrow night.
The girls game tips at 6 o'clock with boys at 8 we will broadcast both games live on am 14-10 KWYO broadcast time is at 5:30.

The annual Big horn mountain wild and scenic trail run will take place next weekend check in for the 100 mile racers is next Thursday the 100 mile event gets started next Friday morning at 6 o'clock.
The 50 mile, 50 k and 30 k races will all get underway next Saturday morning the finish line for all the races is Scott park in Dayton. The event will culminate with an awards breakfast on Grinnell plaza next Sunday morning.

Today celebrate the arts begins at the Sheridan Inn tomorrow the Sheridan media golf tournament to benefit the public arts committee will be played at Kendrick golf course. This year's benefit is helping to purchase two sculptures for permanent display at the new early childhood education center. Sheridan media owner and public arts committee member Kim Love says the art work in downtown Sheridan has become a big part of our community. The golf tournament is sold out a big thank you today to all tournament sponsors and golfers for participating in this year's event play begins tomorrow at 1 o'clock.

The Sheridan rec district had to cancel adult softball league games yesterday due to rain, last night's games will be made up. men's league play resumes tonight at the softball complex at Sheridan college.

The Sheridan Troopers will play at home Saturday and next Monday. Saturday afternoon they host two with Douglas starting at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon they host Spearfish South Dakota that double header will start at 4 o'clock.
