The Sheridan Troopers have won three of their last five games they lost a home game against Casper Friday before rain washed out the second game of that double header. They are scheduled to play Gillette at Thorne-rider stadium weather and field conditions permitting. Troops head coach Ben Phillips says the Troopers have played much better the last week and half . after a couple of weeks off to they went on the road and won three out of four games Phillips says they were able to get several days of good practice time and it paid off

The Wyoming high school all-star basketball teams swept all four games from the South Dakota all-stars over the weekend,Sheridan's Taylor Gardner led the Wyoming girls with 20 points in Friday's 79-74 win Katie Strandholm from Sheridan and Morgan Mines from Arvada-Clearmont each scored ten in the win the Wyoming girls took game two 76-71.

The Wyoming boys also swept South Dakota coming from behind late to force overtime and take game one 90-80 on Saturday it was all Wyoming as they won in Spearfish 103-84.This week the all-stars come to Sheridan to begin preparation for the annual series with the Montana all-stars. Games will be be played Friday night in the Hoffman dome at Sheridan college and Saturday in Billings at Rocky Mountain college all four games will be broadcast live on am 14-10 KWYO.

The Colorado Rockies have won four in a row and three straight in St. Louis after winning 7-2 yesterday they go after five in a row this afternoon against the Cardinals.

The Orlando magic blew a great chance to tie up the NBA finals last night against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Magic missed two layups in the 4th quarter and one at the buzzer and L.A. was able to go onto win the game in overtime 100-96.The series now shifts to Orlando game three is tomorrow night at 7 o'clock.
