Jerry Doyle
Saturday 9pm - Midnight on KROE
www.jerrydoyle.com
The real Jerry Doyle is not far removed from the character that he played, as they both uphold high standards, are outspoken and live with vivid pasts. The Jerry Doyle Show is a mix of politics, pop culture and current events. Doyle's strong opinions, diverse background and quick wit can appeal to all listening audiences. At the height of a successful ten-year career on Wall Street, Doyle decided on a new challenge. "I was 35 years old and in a position to take a shot at whatever I wanted to try," says Doyle. "The Air Force said I was too old to fly fighter jets. I thought about becoming a fishing boat captain, before deciding that acting seemed pretty cool," said Doyle.

In 1991, he packed up and headed to Hollywood. With no prior acting experience, Doyle hit the streets and phones with a vengeance. Within weeks of arriving in Los Angeles, he landed his first job. He was hired as a "day player" on The Bold and the Beautiful, this role lasted almost a year. He then went on to star in the long-running sci-fi series Babylon 5. After the success of Babylon 5, Doyle starred in the TNT original movies The River of Souls, A Call to Arm and to play many other roles.

Taking a hiatus from acting in 2000, Doyle pursued yet another personal goal. A long time political junkie, he ran for the U.S House of Representatives for California's 24th District. While the March primary saw him become the Republican Congressional Nominee, in the November election race he came up short. Doyle grew up in Brooklyn, NY, the eldest son of a police officer and a stay-at-home mom. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, while also receiving his flight training.

After graduation, he joined the marketing and sales division of Falcon Jet Corporation. Doyle recently completed shooting an independent film entitled Open House and the HBO original feature Lost Treasure. He has also starred in Code Hunter, Devious Beings and The Long Ride Home. His series work includes: NYPD Blue, JAG, Martial Law, Sliders, Beverly Hills 90210, Homefront, and Reasonable Doubts.

Doyle has also done extensive voice over work on the animated series, Duckman, and Captain Simian, along with numerous national commercial voice campaigns. Active in the community, Doyle has served as President of the Easter Seal Society, Children's Hospital Board of Trustees and the Multiple Sclerosis Board of Directors. He has raised funds for many charities including Disabled American Veterans, UCLA Medical Center, Breast Cancer, Aids Walk-LA, Cystic Fibrosis and the Motion Picture and Television Fund. He has received numerous awards and accolades including Honorary F-16 Test Pilot, Honorary Naval Aviator and Distinguished Supporter of the Nation's Space Program.

Drudge is the author of The Drudge Report, the widely read Internet website that focuses on political news and the business of Hollywood, where he exposed the Monica Lewinsky scandal to the world and scooped Newsweek.

Drudge was raised in Takoma Park, Maryland, where he was a "loner" and a news junkie, a kid who grew up with talk radio as company. His first jobs included the night shift at a 7-11 and selling TIME Life books over the phone. He moved to Los Angeles in 1989 and started The Drudge Report in 1995. He was managing the CBS studio gift shop and thought it would be an amusing hobby to use the 'Net to relay the gossip he overheard. Drudge's declared aim is to give "the American people" the information he believes to be correct or important, and to revolutionize the media industry with a breath of fresh, young air.

"Handel Yourself in the Morning" soon became one of the top morning shows in the market and "Handel on the Law" now goes out to a national audience. Whether you're talking about Big Brother, Big Business, Big Legal Problems, or Big Macs, you'll rarely find Bill without an opinion. His rapid - fire commentary gives listeners the information they crave in the way they crave It. Bill Handel Is an energetic, highly entertaining, yet intelligent alternative to pseudo-intellectual, boring, "blah, blah, blah" talk radio. Kim Komando
Host of The Kim Komando Show
www.komando.com
Kim began her businesses in 1992 after several years of selling computer and telephone systems for IBM, AT&T and Unisys. She started with a radio show at KFYI and a column in the Arizona Republic.

She started as an architecture major. But her father asked for some research on what various jobs paid. The research, and the report she produced, changed her life. She discovered that the computer industry paid very well. Being interested in money and in computers, she changed her major to computer information systems.

Kim graduated in 1985. She went into sales, but after seven years, she grew tired of the corporate grind. So on Jan. 1, 1992, she went out on her own.

Like most entrepreneurs, Kim struggled to get her business off the ground. The first project was an infomercial, with which she planned to sell an instructional video on using computers.

It took a year to finish the infomercial. Kim was living on her savings, which were nearly depleted. Finally, the infomercial ran on late-night television. After the airing of the first show, she called to see if the tapes were selling. They were moving out the door, she was told.

"I was busted. My first check was for $26,000. I thought, 'Oh, my God, I've never seen so much money at once in my life.'"

After finishing the infomercial, Kim pitched America Online about taking over its computer section. AOL agreed, and Kim launched the effort on Thanksgiving 1994. She picked a holiday in hopes that her first day would be slow. It wasn't; the response was overwhelming.

The pact with AOL lasted several years, as did a stint with Fox News. During this period, in the middle '90s, she got her radio show off the ground. She first approached the networks, but they were uninterested. A CBS vice president told her computers were a fad, much like pet rocks.

Rejected by the big guys, she formed a partnership with Barry Young, a leading talk show host at KFYI in Phoenix. They formed WestStar TalkRadio Network and built a studio. Kim did the marketing; Barry kept the equipment running and formatted the show. Gradually, the show blossomed, as hundreds of radio stations signed on.

Today more than 400 radio stations carry her weekly show around the world. Kim also is a syndicated columnist, appearing in over 100 newspapers, including USA Today. She also writes a technology column for small business on Microsoft's bCentral Web site. In addition, she publishes three e-mail newsletters that have more than 1 million subscribers, and she is frequently asked to appear on network television, including CNN.

George Noory
Weeknight host of "Coast to Coast AM"
www.coasttocoastam.com

While still a teenager, George joined NICAP, the UFO organization that was a precursor to today's MUFON. George immersed himself in the field, "so much so that I decided I wanted to go into broadcasting in order to do unusual stories in the paranormal and stories that the mainstream media didn't want to touch." George's very first broadcast interview, while a young radio reporter for Detroit's WCAR-AM, was with Roswell expert/physicist Stanton Friedman, with whom he has maintained a lifelong friendship.

Now with a 30-year history in the broadcasting field under his belt in such positions as executive television news producer and news director, George brings a wide swath of experience to the table. In fact, at age 28 he was the youngest major news market news director in the country when he was at KMSP-TV in Minneapolis. But it was just a couple of years ago that he came to the attention of Premiere Radio Networks, who heard him on his late-night radio program on KTRS in St. Louis. Known as "the Nighthawk," George's penchant for covering paranormal topics with enthusiasm and skill impressed Premiere. He was then brought on board to host the Sunday night Coast to Coast show. And as Art's back problems became more severe, George was honored to fill in for him on a regular basis.

"Coast to Coast AM may just be the most unusual show I have ever witnessed or been a part of. You really almost have to be born into that arena, I think, in order to handle it. I was very lucky in that's the way I was guiding my own career. It was this thirst to really get to the bottom of some of these stories that kept pushing me," George said.

Other highlights of George's life include serving nine years in the U.S. Naval Reserve and winning three Emmy Awards as a news executive. But certainly manning the helms of Coast to Coast AM is a pinnacle for George, allowing him to pursue the unexplained on a grand scale. It's become his destiny to guide the huge audience from more than 500 radio stations through the night in this dynamic format created by Art Bell. Across America, and around the world on the Internet, George Noory's voice rings out.

Each three minute Osgood File focuses on a single story ranging from a breaking development of national importance to a whimsical human-interest vignette. Some of these he does in rhyme, which is why he is known as CBS’s Poet in Residence.

Osgood’s thought provoking broadcasts attract one of the largest audiences of any network radio feature and have won him numerous awards over the last 25 years, among them two George Foster Peabody Awards from the University of Georgia, the Edward R. Murrow Award from the Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA), a Marconi Award and a Radio-Mercury Award. The Washington Journalism Review named him Best Radio Reporter in its annual Best In The Business issue five years in a row.

As anchor of the CBS News television broadcast “Sunday Morning,” Osgood has won another Peabody and three EMMY Awards. His predecessor on “Sunday Morning,” the late Charles Kuralt called Osgood “One of the last great broadcast writers.”

Osgood has been inducted into three industry Halls of Fame: The National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame, the Radio Hall of Fame at the Radio Museum in Chicago, and the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame.

Osgood has written five books including “Nothing Could be Finer Than a Crisis That is Minor in the Morning” (1979), There’s Nothing That I Wouldn’t Do if You Would Be My POSSLQ” (1981), “Osgood on Speaking: How to Think on your Feet Without Falling On Your Face” (1988), “The Osgood File” (1991) and “See You On The Radio” (1999). He also edited a book of World War Two humor entitled “Kilroy Was Here” (2001).

A graduate of Fordham University, Osgood holds honorary degrees from Fordham, Trinity College, St. John’s University, Colby College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Franklin and Marshall College, The College of St. Rose, Stonehill College, The College of Mount St. Vincent, Caldwell College and St. Bonaventure University, where he also serves on the Board of Trustees.

Michael Savage
Weeknights 10pm-1am on KROE

Author of the best selling books 'The Savage Nation," "The Enemy Within," and "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder," Michael Savage is the number one drive time talk show host in the San Francisco market and in many other cities across America. He is currently syndicated on over 350 stations.

"I guess people love my show because of my hard edge combined with humor and education," he says. "Those who listen to me say they hear a bit of Plato, Henry Miller, Jack Kerouac, Moses, Jesus, and Frankenstein. I pull many of my life experiences, including that of father, son, husband, brother, ice cream factory worker, busboy, lifeguard, writer, scientist, and my huge library of books."

An independent-minded individualist, Michael Savage fits no stereotype. He attacks big government and liberal media bias, but champions the environment and animal rights. Trained as a scientist, he holds Master's degrees in medical botany and medical anthropology and earned his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in Epidemiology and Nutrition Science

. Savage created the phrase "Compassionate Conservative" in 1994. He has used this concept in his radio program and in conducting the first of four hugely successful Compassionate Conservative Conventions bearing that name in 1995. Savage has consistently drawn sold-out audiences to hear him live. For Savage, these words describe a "firewall of balance" that limits how far to the right his opinions go.

Jim says his goal is, "to keep listeners here in our area up to date on the current standings of their local cowboy heroes, and to have even non-rodeo fans hear enough about the sports, regularly enough to have a better appreciation of it...to hear names that perhaps they work with or live next to, and just may go watch as a result."
