Thank You from the Sheridan Senior Center

We want to offer a Big Thank-You to all the Sheridan residents that responded to our call for help last week during our storm.

The radio station put out an announcement that we needed help from anyone that had 4-wheel drive vehicles.  We were just flooded with calls from people in the community that offered to help.

We were able to cover all routes both Thursday and Friday with volunteers. We even carried one of the new volunteers over to help us on Sunday.

We did have a report that chains had to be used at one of our clients home.  After our driver got himself out he realized that the client was not on the list that day.

Everyone enjoyed visiting as our meals were packed.  The chocolate cake and cookies, along with hot coffee hit the spot on the cold winter day.

We just can’t thank everyone enough for the outpouring of community service
