Sheridan Media and the Downtown Sheridan Association encourages you to support the upcoming 2008 Sheridan Media Public Arts Golf Tournament on June 6.  This annual event helps to raise funds to acquire the public art pieces on display in historic downtown Sheridan and give them a permanent home in our community.

If you would like to become a sponsor, sponsorships are available for $250 or $100. You do not have to participate in the golf tournament in order to sponsor the event. The goal is to support the aquisition of public art for Sheridan.

Details of this event follow, and the deadline to RSVP is Friday, May 30 to Sheridan Media.  Thank you in advance for your support.

Sheridan Media will be matching all donations up to the first $5,000 raised!

BENEFICIARY: THE SHERIDAN PUBLIC ARTS COMMITTEE

Funds raised this year will be used to acquire three of this year's on loan pieces: "Mountain Majesty" by Bob Deurloo, "Saturn and Titan" by Joe Burleigh and "Billy" by Malen Pierson.  When added to four other permanent additions this past year: "The Great Escape" by Jerold Smiley, donated by Dixie See and Bill Rawlings; "Once Upon a Time" by James Haire, acquired by the Sheridan College Foundation in memory of Susan Fletcher; "Coming Home: Sacajawea at the Headwaters of the Missouri" by Mary Michael, donated by the Zullig Family; and  "Riding out a Bad Investment" by Fred Fellows owned by the Sheridan State Bank, the number of permanent sculptures facilitated by the City of Sheridan Public Arts Program will now be twenty-eight.  All of your contribution as a sponsor goes towards enabling the Public Arts Committee to continue making permanent additions each year.  Thank you.

Please make checks payable to Sheridan Media.
(If you are also advertising with Sheridan Media, please use separate checks for the golf tournament and your advertising.)
