Arlyene J. Dellit, 75, of Banner, WY, died Thursday, August 11, 2005 in Sheridan Manor. Arlyene was born April 1, 1930 in Sheridan, WY to Edward Gustave and Leona Marie (Calkins) Mittlesteadt. She was united in marriage to George (Skip) Wallace Dellit on March 11, 1947 in California. Arlyene loved to play bingo at the Eagle’s #186. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars. Another past time of Arlyene’s was to crochet, make crafts and read western books. Grateful for having shared her life are her sons; Don Dellit (Lynn) of Sheridan, WY, Bob Dellit (Frances) of Sumatra, MT, Rick Dellit (Kathy) of Ranchester, WY; her daughter, Donna Mines (Terry) of Banner, WY; her grandchildren, Michelle Ohlson (Bill) of Sheridan, WY, Kyle Dellit of Rapid City, SD, Chris Dellit of Laramie, WY, Stacy Dellit of Mesa, AZ, Aaron Mines, Monica Mines, and Morgan Mines of Banner, WY. She was always so proud of her five great-grandchildren; James, William, Ethan, Quinn, and Jace; her sister, Lorraine Wittman (Harold) of Billings, MT. Arlyene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Dellit, her son, David Melvin Dellit, her sister, Mary Imogine Mittlesteadt, and her brother, Edward Gustave Mittlesteadt. At Arlyene’s request, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Maureen Lenore (Starbuck) DiNunzio, 77, of Sheridan, WY, died Sunday, August 14, 2005 in Sheridan, WY. Lenore was born July 27, 1928 in Denver, CO, the 11th of 12 children, to Clyde and Katherine (Hanson) Starbuck. She was raised in Brighton, CO and Denver, graduating from high school at St. Mary’s Academy. Lenore graduated with a degree in music from St. Louis University and did graduate work in public administration at the University of Colorado. Lenore married the love of her life, Michael Anthony DiNunzio, on May 31, 1962, in Denver. She went to work for the Veteran’s Administration in Washington D. C. in 1971, retiring in 1986 as Director of the Information and Regulations staff. Lenore later worked as an administrative assistant in the Italian Studies Department at Georgetown University. Lenore moved to Sheridan in 1999, happily settling in the city in which her parents spent time early in their marriage. Lenore was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved Michael in 1979. Lenore is survived by her sister, Lucille Strawn, of Windham, Maine; her brother, Bertrand Starbuck, of Louisville, CO; one step-daughter, Carole DiNunzio; two step-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews; and extended family. She is also survived by her beloved dogs, Averie Ann and Nigel II. Funeral service for Lenore will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 19, 2005 at Champion Ferries Funeral Home with Rev. David Duprey officiating. Private family committal service will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. WY, died Tuesday, August 23, 2005 from injuries due to an automobile accident
near Clearmont. Brian married Cheryl Hart August 23, 2003 in Clearmont, WY. He was a sales representative for Rocky Mountain Oilfield Warehouse of Casper, WY. He was a member of the Clearmont Community Church, and enjoyed playing cribbage with friends, socializing, and cooking. Brian was preceded in death by one brother, Steve A. Frappier, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of Clearmont; one son, Charles A. Leaf, III, of Buffalo, WY; one daughter, Lena Lynn Frappier, of Clearmont, WY; two brothers, Buddy and Moe Frappier; two sisters, Tammy Frappier, and Heather Brickett; two stepbrothers, Scott and Jamie Ward; all of Maine; his parents, Hazel and Keven Tardiff, and Maurice and Clennice Frappier; 4 nephews; and 4 nieces. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service for Brian will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 28, 2005 at the Arvada-Clearmont High School Gym with Pastor Marty Rostad officiating. She was born December 30, 1915, in Elgin, Nebraska, to Oscar and Mary (McKay) Carlson. Noreen grew up on a homestead north of Gillette, WY and graduated for high school in Gillette. She taught school in rural schools in Campbell County for 1933 to 1937. On May 1, 1937, Noreen married Sheridan Hopkins in Gillette. They lived in several places before moving to Story in 1950. They owned and operated Hopkins Realty in Story. Noreen also went to work for the Story post office and became the Postmaster. She was very involved in the Story community and also was a Cub Scout leader. She retired as Postmaster in 1974. Noreen was a founding member of the Story community Church. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and genealogy. Noreen was preceded in death by her husband Sheridan in 1991; son Glen; two brothers Carl and Bill; one sister Edith and her parents. Noreen is survived by her son David of Story; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nephews and one niece. Memorial service will be 10:00am on Saturday (Aug. 13th) from Champion Ferries Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Tromble officiating. Inurnment of cremains will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Felicia was born August 10, 1960 in Sheridan, WY to William John and Carmen Lee (Ryker) Starkey. She moved with her family as a small child to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Felicia grew up and attended schools in Oklahoma City, moving back to Sheridan in 1991. She attended Sheridan College and received an Associate of Applied Science Degree in the spring of 1994. Felicia married Rob LaToush September 3, 1994 in Story, WY. She worked as a Registered Nurse in Hardin, MT and Sheridan, WY. Felicia enjoyed riding horseback, loved her flower garden, collecting bear figurines, salt and pepper shakers, and wristwatches. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson. For the last 3 years, Felicia finally got to fulfill her dream of living in a house on a stream, and owning her own horse. Felicia was preceded in death by her father, and 1 brother. She is survived by her husband, Rob, of Sheridan, WY; 1 daughter, Monica LaToush, of Sheridan, WY; her mother, Carmen Lee George, of Sun Lakes, AZ; 1 brother, Kevin Starkey, of Littleton, CO; and 1 grandson, Will LaToush, of Sheridan, WY. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life for Felicia will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the T-T Ranch, 1376 Big Goose Rd., Sheridan, WY with Pastor Dan Keller officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Doris was born on February 21, 1912, at Cooperstown, N. Dakota, to Martin and Severina (Lawrence) Lieberg. Doris graduated from high school in 1930 and moved to Jamestown, ND, with her parents. She graduated from Business College in Jamestown and worked for the State Bank of N. Dakota. She married Frank E. Stampka in 1936 and they framed near Fried, ND for the next 19 years. In 1955, they moved into Jamestown and she worked for Montgomery Ward as Catalog Dept. Manager for the next 25 years. Mr. Stampka died in 1967. Doris moved to Sheridan in 1990 to be near her son. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Buffalo. Doris was also preceded in death by her son Larry; her parents; three sisters Eleanor Delzer, Jean Michaud and Lila Head; two brothers Kenneth and Harley Lieberg. Doris is survived by a son Francis M. Stampka of Sheridan; sister Olga Trangsrud of Jamestown; brother Millard Lieberg of Orange, CA; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Masses in her intention will be said at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church by Father George Von Kaenel. Inurnment of cremains will be later in North Dakota. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
