SHERIDAN BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan football program hasn't been in this position for a dozen years -- 1997 was the last time the Broncs played for the State Championship. This year's Bronc seniors were in elementary school when the Broncs lost to Evanston 25-20.
Wide receiver Will Hendrickson is one of the Bronc seniors having a great season. We asked him what's been the best part of this season for him.
The Broncs have the best record in the league this year, including a current 10-game winning streak. So what's been the Bronc's secret to that record? And Hendrickson says the Broncs have so many “Playmakers” it's put a lot of pressure on the defenses they've faced each week.
Senior Wide-out Cody Williams has been part of several big plays for the Broncs this year. The play of the year came last week facing 4th and 11; Williams was on the end of the play that set up the winning field goal that beat Kelly Walsh.
Williams and the Broncs know they are facing another big challenge when they play Cheyenne Central Saturday. He says they have one more big game to play.
