
PLAYOFF FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams dropped a heart breaker to Lovell in their semi final game Friday in Big Horn.
The Rams led until the 5:43 mark in the 4th quarter when Lovell took a 29-28 lead, the Rams had three chances with the ball in the closing minutes but couldn't mount a comeback.
They end the season 9-1 overall and the north 2-A regular season title.
The Sheridan Broncs took a 3-0 lead in Gillette after one quarter Friday night but two costly turnovers gave Gillette a 14-3 lead which they extended to 28-3 to start the second half and went on to eliminate the Broncs 35-16, Head coach Don Julian.
Julian commended the Bronc seniors for their hard work and they accomplished a lot this year.
And finally Julian says it was a great season they just ran into a very good team Friday night. The Broncs finish their season with an 8-3 record.
SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams play both opened the season winning twice over the weekend.
The Lady Generals won big over Fort Carson Colorado and nipped Air Force Prep 60-59 Saturday, Josie Three Irons hit two Free throws with :05 seconds to play to secure the victory.
The Generals beat Air Force Prep in Gillette Friday 72-67 and came back Saturday to beat Western Nebraska in overtime 107-104.
Tonight they host games with Rocky Mountain college games will be at 5:30 and 7:30 in the Hoffman dome. We will also broadcast both games live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys are off until Saturday night when they host Western state Colorado in Laramie.
COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys beat Colorado state Saturday 45-31 to pick up their second win of the season, this week the Pokes travel for a road game at New Mexico.
BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos beat Cincinnati Sunday 31-23 Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes in the win. This week the Broncos go back out on the road for a game at Carolina.
