This past weekend was busy for Johnson County's high school athletes.
It was Homecoming Week at Buffalo High School, and the football team didn't disappoint the home crowd as they took down the Lander Tigers 14-8 in a sloppy game in miserably cold and snowy conditions Friday night.
The Bison are now 2-4 on the season with a trip to Torrington coming this Friday.
Kaycee's Buckaroos football team is now 3-3 after a 72-29 loss at home to Little Snake River Friday.
They will host Tensleep on Saturday.
The Lady Bison volleyball team hosted Big Horn Thursday at BHS and came out with a hard-fought 3-2 win, but then fell 3-1 to Torrington on the road Saturday.
The girls will be in Newcastle on Thursday and Worland on Saturday.
The Kaycee Lady Bucs volleyball team had a great weekend, beating Midwest 3-0 on Thursday, beating Little Snake River 3-2 on Friday and beating Arvada-Clearmont 3-1 on Saturday.
They will host Upton Friday and travel to Hulett on Saturday.
The Bison cross-country team hosted an event last week at BHS, and the Lady Bison swim team was at the Gillette Invite this weekend. We'll have results when they become available.
