Buffalo's boys' swim team took the Conference Championship last weekend in Rawlins, finishing well ahead of second-place Worland to capture their third straight conference title.
Buffalo finished with 337 points, followed by Worland with 292, Douglas with 225, Rawlins with 204 and Newcastle with 102.
Coach Ron Chapin said this was the most exciting conference championship he has been involved in, and he was pleased with how the team responded to a good challenge from a good Worland team.
First-place finishes came from the 200 medley relay team; the 200 free relay team, the 400 free relay team; Neil Medders in the 200 and 500 free; and Nate Holt in the 100 back.
The athlete of the meet was Medders and the sportmanship award went to Josh Cohoon.
Named to the All-Conference Team were Josh Cohoon, Neil Medders, Nate Holt, Justin land, Tim Cohoon, Matt Scarlett, Wyatt Zegstroo and Randy Olsen.
Honorable metion all-conference went to Josh Dillinger.
Next up for the swim team is the State Meet February 24 and 25 in Gillette.

Jaren Olsen dropped 18 seconds off his time in the 200 free and 36 seconds off his time in the 500 free.
