
Both the Bison boys' and girls' basketball teams improved their records to 4-1 with each getting two big wins over the weekend.
The boys were home to host Newcastle Friday and took that game 51-32 in the home opener. Saturday the Bison traveled to Worland and downed the Warriors 67-35.
The Lady Bison were in Newcastle Friday and beat the Lady Dogies 50-40, and Saturday defeated the Lady Warriors 46-40.
The Kaycee Buckaroos were at the Coal Miner Classic in Wright and dropped both of their games, 60-57 to 2A Wright and 58-44 to Lusk.
They are now 2-3 on the season.
The Kaycee Lady Bucs were at the Herder Classic in Glenrock. They split their games by losing to 2A Lusk 43-41 and beating Glenrock 43-39. They are now 3-2 for the season.
The Bison wrestlers finished 27th at the Rapid City Invite this weekend. At 145 lbs., Taylor Bell went 4-2 in matches for the best Bison finish.
Other Bison at the tournament included Cody Sanburn and Jonathan Land going 2-2 each; Jenna Elmlinger at 1-2; and Kyle Burton, Darby Scantling and Morgan Elsom finishing 0-2 for the tournament.
And the Bison boys' swim team was at the Casper Relays and the Gillette Pentathlon and we'll have results when available.
