The Sheridan Broncs came back strong after a season opening loss to Casper Kelly Walsh, Friday night at Cheyenne East the Broncs scored 49 points in the first half to take a 49-7 halftime lead and went onto to beat the T-birds 56-21. SC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals went 5-0 last week capping the weekend with two wins Saturday over Trinidad Colorado and Williston North Dakota. The Lady Generals play at Northwest college in Powell tonight then road matches at Laramie county and Eastern Wyoming this weekend.
CROSS COUNTRY - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams did well in Spearfish South Dakota last week the Lady Broncs won with Dana Morin and Lela Carpenter finishing 1st and 2nd the Broncs placed 4th with Dylan Morin 4th and Seth Ulvestad 6th Friday they run at the Gillette invitational.
SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers dropped a dual at Laramie Friday this week they have a dual in Gillette Thursday.
HS GOLF - In golf action the Sheridan Broncs travel this weekend to play in the 2009 McDonalds championship in Kingsport. Tennessee.
The Tongue River Eagles golfers placed 4th at the Wright invitational the top finisher was Brock Hovey who finished 7th overall for the Lady Eagles Aspen Rawlings placed 3rd. this week the Big Horn and Tongue River golfers will play at the Buffalo invitational.
