Sheridan's running back senior Nate Kane slid into the end zone on his back before raising the ball in his right hand in unison with the official raising both of his arms to signal "TD." Bronc QB Kevin Bakkehaug pitched the ball to Kane who 5-seconds later was in the end zone with 7:10 to go in the 1st quarter for the first score of the game. It was a chilly Friday evening as the Broncs took on the Kelly Walsh Trojans in first round playoff action at home on Scott Field - but with this TD the Broncs turned on the heat, took care of business and sent the Trojans packing for the season. Sheridan would add 29 more points while allowing KW just 14 to "seal the deal" with a final score of 35 to 14 and send #3 Sheridan to #2 Gillette for semi-final action next Friday.
