With his fingers crossed on both hands Cub Scout Gaige Bielhauer, in his yellow hat, kneels along with his three competitors as he watches his hunting truck in lane #2 come down the Pinewood Derby course on Saturday morning at Hammer Chevrolet in Sheridan. In the Elakawee District Pinewood Derby the first place winners were: Tigers - Cash Nelson pack 385; Wolf - Braden West pack 385; Bear - Calen Bell pack 385; Webelo - Logan Jensen - pack 210 and in the Open Division it was Donna Richards. Fifty Cub Scouts and non-Scouts participated in the derby - the winners in each age group advance to Council races later this spring in Casper. For more of the local action scroll down.
