The Big Horns and the surrounding area received the last snow of winter on Monday, including portions of the area seen here between Wyoming Highway 335 and the mountains - just west of Big Horn. The longest winter in four years officially comes to an end Monday night at 11:14 pm. That means tomorrow, the first day of spring, day and night are each approximately 12 hours long. In case you're wondering why winter was longer this year it was because of leap year - remember February 29th?
