To the sound of Robert Wyatt's bagpipes at 1:00 pm Saturday the Fort Mackenzie graduation processional began. After a welcome address by Laurien Rahimi and speaker Officer Howie Fitzpatrick "The Graduation Song" was sung by soon-to-be-graduate Amanda Popke. Then it was time for Valedictorian Nicolette Wyman and Salutatorian Amanda Popke to deliver their respective addresses before a slide show recapped the "Class of 2012." Mick Wiest then commented on each of the six graduates as they received their diplomas from Principal Laurien Rahimi and the Class of 2012 was presented to the audience below. A reception was held, complete a with personalized cake and cutting following the graduation in the gymnasium.
