At 7:39 pm Thursday evening a tradition was started as the Flaming Bronc was first ignited during Homecoming Festivities held on Grinnell Plaza. Activities Director and Bronc Head Football Coach Don Julian said he hopes this event on Grinnell Plaza is but the first of many. Tonight was extra special with the brand new Bronc sculpture making its inaugural appearance and ignited at the conclusion of the evening events. Events that included appearances and recognition of participants in all extra curricula SHS groups along with participants in the royalty competition of homecoming week. If you missed Thursday's lighting of the Bronc make tracks to the football game on Scott Field Friday evening where we hope to see the Flaming Bronc go up in flames many times on the south end of the field. Each scoring drive will result in a remote controlled flame activation. Let's burn up some fuel on Friday and let's thank the Sheridan Bronc Athletic Booster Club and EMIT Technologies for making the Flaming Bronc a reality.
