Check out the elevated "Community Garden - Dayton Style" set at the foot of the Bighorns in beautiful Dayton, Wyoming. There are 23 plots and the last one was sold for the season on May 29th for $10. It's more than just a community garden it is more like a community project as Mayor Wood said the City purchased the wood and the wood shop students at the High School made the boxes. You'll notice plastic being used in many of the plots to enhance the growing season. The typical growing season for our part of Wyoming is around 119 days. So plant early, hope for no late or early frost and reap the harvests of your labor.
