Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers will once again be participating in the National Operation CARE program for the Memorial Day weekend. Highway Patrol Sgt. Stephen Townsend says the combined accident reduction effort is to deter the three main causes for highway fatalities.
Highway Patrol will also be working with WYDOT'S Highway Safety program through the holiday weekend.
Townsend said that they'll also be stationing their speed monitoring trailers in construction zones in each of the state's five districts to remind motorists to slow down through construction areas.
