The Johnson County Cattlewomen will host the Women's Agriculture Summit at the Hampton Inn in Buffalo Saturday, January 29th. Aaron Palmer has the story.
Those topics include Bridging the Generation Gap, presented by Karen St. Clair, Director of Workforce Training and Development for the Northern Wyoming Community College District; Native Women and Youth in Ag presented by Vicki Hebb, a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux of South Dakota; Issues Facing the Ag Industry in the Western States by Karen Yost, co-owner of Nutra-Lix, Inc. of Billings, Mont.; and Social Media in Agriculture by Jody Lamp of Lamp Public Relations and Marketing of Billings.
Redding said those in the Ag industry and those merely interested will come away with a better understanding of today's Ag issues.
The cost of the event is $25 per person if signed up before January 19TH, AND $35 after that. The Ag Summit will begin at 9:30 on the 29th and run through the day. Redding said although this is sponsored by the cattlewomen, everyone is welcome to attend.
