A winter storm warning for parts of northeast Wyoming, including the City of Sheridan, is in effect through Friday at 6 am. While the worst may be just to the north of us in Montana, Meteorologist Ryan Leach says that we will certainly feel some of the affects of the storm.
There will also be some high winds that will accompany the storm as well; however, they won't be as strong in Sheridan as the surrounding areas.
Even though the wind won't be as strong in Sheridan, wind chill readings could reach as low as 20 below for the overnight. He also indicated that we can expect scattered snow with possible accumulations to last through Friday afternoon.
