The Sheridan County School District #1's bus barn, located in the old Apostolic Lutheran Church, went up in flames Thursday morning.
Doug Enloe, fire chief at the Big Horn Fire Department, said the building was already fully engulfed in flames when he and his crew arrived.
The building is considered a total loss and at least three vehicles parked near the structure were also destroyed. The building was vacant when it ignited.

WYDOT is starting construction Monday on a five-mile stretch of Highway 196 south of Buffalo. Public relations specialist for WYDOT, Ronda Holwell, said travelers should expect delays.
The construction is expected to last one month.
