The snowy weather this weekend didn't seem to hurt Buffalo author Steve Rzasa's book signing on Saturday at the Johnson County Library.
Rzasa sold and signed copies of his newly-released third novel "Broken Sight" and his other two novels "The Word Reclaimed" and "The Word Unleashed".
Rzasa said he was pleased with the turnout, considering the inclement weather.
The books are about a futuristic society where religion is outlawed, but one man finds a Bible and begins reading it; the stories follow how the society's, as well as the main character's, beliefs and values change in the process.
Rzasa said some of those attending the book signing were a little surprised to find he is an author.
One couple commented on how important they believed it was to support local talent, and purchased one of Rzasa's books, which he then, of course, signed for them.
