Mother Nature was not kind on holiday travelers Wednesday as much of Wyoming was rocked by a winter storm that caused several accidents and road closures throughout the state. Wyoming Highway Patrol Sergeant Stephen Townsend says that safety should be tops on the list while traveling for the holidays.
Townsend said that if you plan on traveling for the holidays, it's also a good idea to bring a shovel, tow rope, chains and plenty of winter clothing in case you happen to run into trouble on the road.
