Opened in December, the Tongue River Valley Community Center has been a busy place for the Dayton community to enjoy. Executive Director Erin Kilbride says that being able to move into the old Tongue River High School building was the perfect solution to establishing the center.
Kilbride splits her time between running TRVCC and the Ranchester Community Center, for which she became director three years ago. Helping her run both are a cadre (cad-ray) of volunteers on the Ranchester side. Volunteers are key, she says.
Kilbride says you can call her at the center if you would like to volunteer.
With programs ranging from exercise classes, basketball and pickle ball leagues to arts programs for children and childcare services for at-home moms, the two centers are busy from morning until late at night.
