
Sheridan County School District 1 board of trustees met for their February meeting Tuesday night in Ranchester. Superintendent Marty Kobza says that the board approved a personnel change at the meeting.
Tongue River High School principal Don White will retire at the end of the school year. Also, at the meeting the board approved an amendment to a SAWS water service agreement in Big Horn.
The board also extended Kobza's superintendent contract for two years Tuesday night. A year ago when he began as superintendent, the board signed Kobza to a one-year contract.
Tina Melin, science teacher at Big Horn middle school and Margo Iames, part-time reading teacher at TRMS, were recognized as teachers of the month.
