The sights, sounds, and scents of Christmas came alive Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at the annual Holiday Open House at the Trail End Museum in Sheridan.
The museum interior glittered and glistened with Christmas finery and assistant superintendent, Sharie Prout tells us.
It was no small task, decorating the entire mansion.
The open house is an annual tradition that has taken place for over twenty-five years. And it wouldn’t be Christmas at the mansion without these favorites: figgy pudding and spiced cider. Figgy pudding?
In addition to the traditional goodies, guests were treated to live entertainment by some of Sheridan’s best musicians, both musical and instrumental. The museum is open daily, 1-4 p.m. through December 14 and will open again in Spring.
