“If you build it, they will come.” We don’t have any fields of dreams in northern Wyoming, but we do have the new Dayton location for the Tongue River Valley Community Center. Executive Director Erin Kilbride says the grand opening of the Center in Dayton was just the beginning.
Memberships have been on the rise ever since the new location opened. When Tuesday’s freezing temperatures caused Tongue River High School to close early, the TRVCC Dayton became the logical choice for many students to hang out and stay warm.
The TRVCC Ranchester location will also be hosting a chili cook-off tomorrow afternoon at 4. All the proceeds from the event will go to help needy children in Mexico to have a Merry Christmas. Tickets are just 5 dollars for all the chili you can eat.
