Now that the National Association of Broadcasters annual convention in Las Vegas has wrapped up, we thought we'd check in with our roving reporter, who's none other than Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.
800-thousand square feet of exhibitor space and over 1,600 exhibitors were what made up this year's NAB convention that showcased all of the latest technological gadgets in the broadcast industry. I had a chance to hear from Mayor Kinskey before his trek back to Sheridan to hear about some of the latest gizmos from the convention, and he said there were two things that stuck out the most.
The other gadget that really caught the Mayor's eye fell under the category of Best Big New Idea.
The NAB conference aside, Mayor Kinskey assured me that he would be back in Sheridan in plenty of time for this weekend's Earth Day celebration, stating that he “wouldn't miss it for the world”. The City of Sheridan Earth Day Celebration will take place Sunday from 1 to 5 pm at South Park in Sheridan.
