Coming up this weekend in Buffalo is a Style Show, sponsored by the Hen House Salon.
On Saturday, the Deerfield Building will be transformed into a fashion showplace, with area merchants, stylists and artists showing their talents. In addition, many vendors will be showing their wares in time to find that perfect holiday gift. Event organizer Shelley Bolinger explains how the show will work.
Bolinger said the idea for the show was born on a trip home from a recent hair show. She and a number of other stylists had learned many new techniques and decided they needed a venue in which to show what they had learned. The Style Show idea came from those discussions, she said.
In addition to the style show for hair and fashions, Bolinger said vendors such as Lindberger Baskets, several jewelry sellers and caterers will be showcasing their goods and services as well. There will also be hors d'oeuvres, wine and other goodies to sample as well as door prizes to be given away.
The event is Saturday, November 13th, starting at 6 pm and will take place at Deerfield in downtown Buffalo. It is free to the public and everyone is invited.
