The first ever Cowboy State Strongman Classic is coming to Sheridan next month.
15-30 competitors will be lifting logs and beer kegs, pulling semi trucks and hurling big stones to show who's the toughest. Event coordinator, Jake Benth, said believe it or not, this event has something for everyone.
The competition will be July 7, but Benth is hoping to line up volunteers to help run the event.
The competition is open to light, middle and heavyweight men and women. There's room for one more sponsor to pledge funds in exchange for advertising. To sign up as a sponsor, volunteer, or competitor, stop by the PURENERGY Fitness Center at 603 Riverside, next to Carpet Design.
