The Wyoming State Fair kicks off next weekend in Douglas, and as part of an effort to promote the pitfalls of tobacco use, the Wyoming Department of Health has signed on as a sponsor. Wyoming Department of Health Quit Tobacco Program Manager Joseph D’Eufemia says that the State Fair is a good opportunity to let people know what services they provide in helping people quit tobacco.
D’Eufemia said that significant financial help with medications proven to help people quit, such as patches or other prescription choices, is available from the program. There is also free support from trained coaches available to those that need it.
To enroll, Wyoming residents can go online at www.wy.quitnet.com or call 1-800-Quit-Now.
